SOFA AND END TABLES: Archetypal items with the fashionable tapering, spindle legs so popular during the 1950's-1970's. Made by Arco, a Hong Kong-based division of Mattel. On the end tables sit a turned wooden bowl, some books and a carved monkey.

SIDEBOARD: Fantastic period details adorn this hand-made piece from the mid-twentieth century. It has two opening cupboards, and two shelves underneath and is painted a soft cream shade. On top sit two turned wooden pots, a spotted, vintage ceramic vase, and a stoneware jug, all in fashionable mid-century shapes.

SIDE CHAIR: A very sturdy, wooden piece from the same period, featuring an unusual laminated seat; maker unknown.

LAMP: A vintage, plastic lamp from the 1950's.

RUG: Hand-made from a piece of grey felt.

WALLS: Covered in wrapping paper featuring a vintage print called 'Coppice', designed by Mary White for Heal & Son 1956, and now re-printed for the Victoria & Albert Museum. It has been mounted on two A3 pieces of 5mm thick foam board. Each piece of foam board measures 42 x 29.5cm or 11 5/8 x 16 3/8in.
