Postage and Packaging

Good Golly Miss Dolly accepts two forms of payment: online payment or cheques from a UK bank account. All of our online payments are processed through Paypal at: ggmdolly@gmail.com. When we receive your online payment or once your cheque has cleared, we will package your items.

All orders will be dispatched within two working days of payment.
However, due to the fluctuating nature of postal and courier costs, please contact us about your order, so that we can quote for getting it to your destination. All items are sent via First Class Royal Mail, or with a fully-insured and signed-for carrier for more expensive items.
Because of the precious and breakable nature of the items in the room sets, we will pack everything very carefully using a combination of tissue paper, bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard. Please note that furniture is sent separately from the room set's foam board walls, due to the size and bendable nature of the latter. Once the parcel has been sent, we will send you a tracking number.

With Good Golly Miss Dolly, you also have the option of collecting (and paying for) your purchases from us directly (from our studio in Clapham, South London) rather than having them posted to you. This is by appointment only, so please contact us should you be interested in seeing a selection of our vintage treasures first-hand.

Room Sets

Because the size and weight of contents of each room varies so much, it is impossible to give a general price for shipping a room set. However, to give you an idea, it is usually possible to send one room’s contents and walls (2 parcels) in the UK, for £20-£30.00; to the US it usually cost £50-£75.00 but these are only guesstimates. Once we have completely packed up your room set, the two parcels can then be measured and weighed and quotes from various couriers obtained.

Specific Requests

Please e-mail us regarding any special requests such as Birthday, Christmas or Christening wrapping.


In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, simply return your items to us, undamaged, within 7 days, in return for a full refund (excluding postal charges). Please contact us before doing this. Also note that we will only refund you once we have received the items. This way we can make sure that everything is in good condition and has not been damaged.
