American 1970's Dining Room

Details of each item

DRESSER, TABLE AND CHAIRS: Highest quality hardwood furniture, circa 1950, from the American manufacturer, Hall's Lifetime Toys in Chattanooga, Tennessee, (sadly no longer in existence). These are very solid pieces and in fantastic condition. The dresser measures about 9in/230cm tall and has two shelves and double opening doors down below, perfect for displaying and storing everything a doll's dining room could want. On the dresser is a brass birdcage with a tiny bird inside - please see the close-up photo of the dresser.

CHINA: On the dresser and on the table, a mixture of white, ceramic modern and vintage pieces including a lovely, vintage, lime green, pressed glass dish to hold dolly's cutlery. A modern tea set and two delectable tea cakes complete the setting.

FIREPLACE: vintage wooden item, complete with two solid brass candlesticks, real wooden "logs" and a beautifully-crafted wire basket to store extra "logs". Please see the close-up photo of this basket, shown with the dresser.

RUG: Hand-crocheted, ecru cotton rug (crochet was a very popular craft during the 70's)

CLOCK: Vintage wooden wall clock.

WALLS: Covered in 1970's-inspired, modern wrapping paper, in pale olive green. It has been mounted on two pieces of 5mm thick, A3 foam board. Each piece of foam board measures 42x29.5cm or 11 5/8 x 16 3/8in.
